Why Subscribe? Because Catholic Media Needs a Reset

Catholic media today is stale and predictable. The same debates, the same personalities, the same talking points repackaged in different formats. Most of it revolves around conversion stories, culture wars, or personal brands built on monetizing the Church’s wisdom. It’s not bad, but it’s also not enough.

That’s not what you’ll find here.

I’m not here to handhold, repackage the Catechism, or feed you talking points for Twitter debates. I’m here to cut through the noise—to critique the Catholic media machine, examine the overlooked, and say what others won’t. I won’t waste your time with sentimental conversion stories, watered-down theology, or another regurgitation of “why sola scriptura is wrong.” If that’s what you want, go to the usual suspects.

Catholicism has a rich intellectual and cultural tradition that extends far beyond today’s recycled arguments. There are real issues worth discussing: the state of Catholic media, the role of faith in modern life, the tension between theology and practicality.

I write for those who want more than just the basics. No personal conversion stories, no clickbait culture war content—just honest, thought-provoking analysis that challenges and refines how we think about Catholicism today.

Additionally, 10% of the profits gained from paid subscriptions will go towards a soup kitchen I help fund. God Bless.
